# Motivation for this document

Everyone seems to do one so why not.

In order to gain my official team leader job title I was encouraged to gain my chartered managers diploma in first line management which I did in 2014.

# My role

I am in charge of 3 seperate Dev teams that all work on payroll software. Cross team collaboration is almost none existent, due to pressure from above to get the job done as quickly as possible and hit KPIs so they get pay rises and a bonus. # What do I value most?

I value hard work and people who are passionate about the things they build. Devs who prefer to do things right over quick and dirty.

# My Expectations

Things are done when they are live and do the job requested, this is much simpler than it has to be, improvements can always be made after MVP.

Mistakes happen, admit it, own it, fix it and move on.
