# What I value most and work by as a manager (and as a person)?

## Make an impact

Everything we do should be aimed at created an impact - create a real change in the world and/or increase the value of the company / value of company products to users.

Choose what tasks to do by their predicted impact, short and long term.

i.e. **do the right things** - and be able to detect what is right/ important to make an impact.

Define measurable KPIs that map the business value into your team’s tasks.

## Ownership, passion and accountability

Each team member is an owner - owns modules, owns problem solving, completes projects end-to-end, sees the “large picture” and cares about the company success.

Creating win-win situations between team member personal advance and company/team goals and making an impact.

## Vision and Purpose

Define team Vision, Goal and values.

The team should know (and believe in) the value and the purpose of their work and believe their work really makes a real impact.

Personal member goals should be inline with team/company goals.

## Agile fast cycles of Build/Measure/Learn

Work in fast cycles - both in development and research - build something, measure the result, learn from it and define next tasks by data-driven results.

Define large projects into small tasks up to 3-5 days each.
Each task has a clear definition of done/success. Plan tasks ahead but be willing for agile, fast changes all the time.

Learn from previous tasks and improve all the time.

## Get things Done

Tasks should end fast, in the planned time. Raise a flag when stuck. Bypass obstacles and make it happen.

Divide large projects to small tasks and get each done fast. Be willing to change tasks all the time by changing needs

[Team Goals are long-term, the tasks to achieve them best change all the time]

## Collaboration and Feedback

Create a team that works together well efficiently. Ability to get and understand feedback and adjust fast to improve by it.
